A powerful duo, Crystal Douesnard and Thomas Moore, have created an authentic sound in WildEyes, a rock band based out of Los Angeles, CA. Despite their classic rock beats, WildEyes has an upbeat, modern sound sure to get everyone on their feet. In 2016, they released their debut EP, Know Me Now, featuring singles such as the self-titled WildEyes and an acoustic rock ballad, Remember. Faulkner, based out of Venice, California and New York City, is an alternative rock band with bicoastal influence in their music and their attitude. Founded in 2013, Faulkner has created their own sound and their own movement with musical influences spawning from N.W.A to The Clash. Their debut EP, Revanchist, was released in 2016, featuring singles such as Revolutionary and Ny Anthem which has been featured on ESPN. And get excited – they’re getting ready to release their debut full-length album this summer. There are little hints about what to expect, but as noted on Faulkner’s Facebook page, “The less you know about Faulkner, the more you know about Faulkner.”
Recently, we got to connect with Faulkner at a small show in Los Angeles, and saw them rock the crowd with their high-energy sound. As a band with big energy and even bigger dreams, we can expect to see a lot more of them very soon.
We got to ask them a few questions about their journey, their sound, and their REVOLUTION. Here’s what they had to say:
The Score, an alt-rock band out of Los Angeles, has been on the rise since 2015 when their single, “Oh My Love” was featured in a commercial for the British supermarket Asda. Soon after, The Score, comprised of Eddie Anthony and Edan Dover, was catapulted into success and they were signed to Republic Records. Since then, their singles have been featured on HBO hit shows, the new Power Rangers film and during the NBA Playoffs March Madness pre-show programming. Their newest EP, Myths & Legends, was just released on April 14th.
We want to inspire you to chase your dreams. We’re excited to feature The Score in the special launch of HEADLINERS UNCORKED. With songs like “Legend”, “Unstoppable”, and “Revolutionary”, their sound and message represents our mission to fight for your passions and follow your dreams. And despite The Score’s early success, no journey is ever easy. We had the opportunity to ask The Score a few questions about their story, what struggles they faced along the way, and how they REVOLT against what’s holding them back.
Featuring exclusive interviews with your favorite bands, HEADLINERS UNCORKED is an outlet to find inspiration through the power of wine & music.
